CALIPARI: VIOLANTE, ITALY WANTS TO KNOW THE TRUTH
(AGI) - Palermo, Italy, Mar 4 - The chairman of the Democratic Left (DS), Luciano Violante, has said, "Calipari's death wasn't just destiny but a rifle shot. The undersecretary, Letta's, position on the matter also seems clear. Italy wants to know the truth". Violante was attending a health conference in Palermo today and was commenting on what the defence minister, Antonio Martino, and the prime minister's undersecretary, Gianni Letta, had said. He added, "Unfortunately the Calipari affair is one of the things Berlusconi failed to bring up during his visit to the USA". (AGI) .
